SSI Solutions moves forward with Blackberry's

The time has finally come to make a move to new cell phones! After much consideration, I am very pleased to announce that SSI will be moving forward with Blackberry's with a back end BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server), in partnership with TELUS Mobility.

As part of the decision making process, the following business requirements were established:

• Access to the Global Address Book
• Integration to the Cisco system
• Tethering capability
• Easy to use email & text messaging
• GPS pinpoint mapping
• Global device management & security
• Reliable coverage
• Reliable data speeds
• Administrative control of the plan (online account management)
• Overall value of the plan (features/benefits vs. cost)
• Reliable, local account representation

Both BES and TELUS Mobility speak to all of these points plus more and we are excited to move forward with this new product. Some of the additional benefits Blackberry users can expect are:

SSI Solutions presented with Canadian Diabetes Association Award of Appreciation. James Gibbins, Executive Director, Prairies, NWT and Nunavut - of the Canadian Diabetes Association, presented an award of appreciation to SSI Solutions this morning for the charity casino event hosted on October 8th. The hugely successful event raised $13,735.00 in support of Diabetes research and related programs and well exceeded our goals for the evening.

Thank you Samantha, Brett and those from the Edmonton team that helped organized the most successful SSI event to date.

SSI Solutions and Twin Solutions merger was completed.

SSI Edmonton announces new slo-pitch team the Terror Bytes. The season is scheduled to start on July 2nd and is sure to be an exciting time for all involved. Stay tuned for games updates!

Our goal is to provide confidence in your IT support investment with SSI, and to provide guidance on any technical questions. There are circumstances when the support required extends beyond what is covered in the Managed Plus and Service Plus programs, however it is our commitment to reduce unexpected Third Party Services for all SSI clients.

In an effort to provide a higher level of technical support and advice pertaining to product purchases for our clients, SSI is discontinuing Buy Online services effective immediately.

As a result of feedback received from customers, SSI has moved forward in implementing a support model where customers will receive immediate remote support for their technical problems. As of January 21, 2009, all technical issues being called or emailed in will have qualified technical resources immediately begin assessing the reported problem. This new process eliminates the need to communicate network problems to non-technical staff and will provide faster resolutions to reported problems.
